We Need Your Help!

Please consider helping us by volunteering your time. We especially need volunteers to Manager and coach our teams. If you can spare some time for our children please let us know.

For the protection of our children participants, our Little League Charter requires us to perform background checks on all of our volunteers. Please fill out an official Little League 2019 Volunteer Application and provide it at the time of registration or to a council member. Training is essential to provide some Basic fundamentals. In order to participate during this upcoming season, volunteers are required to attend a one-time mandatory Rutgers Certification Class. This class is free to Ridgefield residents and is a requirement in order to coach. In addition, Coaches are also required to attend a 2019 Safety Clinic and comply with the CDC Head Injury Prevention Rules.

Class locations, dates and times outside of the Borough of Ridgefield (fee will be reimbursed) are available through the Youth Sports Research Council, Rutgers University.

We are also in constant need of volunteers to work our Snack Stand. This is a major source of fund raising for our program. Please make sure you help at least two (2) games this season during your child's participation.
